Lac Vieux Desert Federal Reaffirmation Day

We will be closed on September 8th in observance of Lac Vieux Desert Federal Reaffirmation Day. We will reopen and resume normal services at 7:30 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, September 9th.

On September 8, 1988, President Ronald Reagan signed the "Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians Act" (H.R. 3697) that officially recognized the Band as a separate and distinct tribe apart from the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.  We will be closed on September 8th in observance.
