The Lac Vieux Desert Health Center has standard operating hours of 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM CST, M-F. The pharmacy hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F. If there are any changes, we will do our best to communicate them via our Website and/or Facebook.

Yes! We are open to the public and would love to have the opportunity to be of service.

Masks are not required at this time but do recommend that if you have respiratory symptoms such as coughing, you consider wearing a mask when entering the clinic. Our medical director and team will continue to review and assess the latest information available and will make changes if necessary.

We recommend immediately contacting 911 for any emergency level health situation. While our clinics can certainly address many immediate care needs (see Q&A immediately below), they are not designated to provide emergency services.

No. You do not need to make an appointment for such a visit. The walk-in clinic is available from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM CST, M-F, to patients with time sensitive needs. If you have a chronic or non-urgent issue, it is preferred that you schedule a visit to allow for optimal time and preparation prior to arrival.

Please bring your ID such as a driver’s license or Tribal ID, your insurance card and payment if any copays are required.

Yes we can and recommend that you contact your primary care provider in advance to have them authorize your prescription be filled by our pharmacy. If you are unable to contact your primary care provider, we can try to arrange an appointment for you with one of our doctors so they can review, consult and potentially approve a prescription.
