Family Nurse Practitioner

“I have dedicated my career to providing the best possible care to the residents of rural northern Wisconsin and the UP. I believe people in rural areas deserve to receive high quality healthcare without having to travel hundreds of miles to large Healthcare centers. I am committed to working with people to achieve their personal goals and to optimize health and wellness by treating the whole person, utilizing a holistic approach.”

Born and raised in rural communities in Southeast Alaska, Dorothea spent many summers visiting her mother's family in Minocqua, Wisconsin and moved there after graduating high school. She loves rural northern Wisconsin and the UP and has spent her entire adult life here. Her family has a small farm where they grow organic vegetables and raise grass fed heritage breed cattle and chickens. Her goal is to raise, grow, forage, and preserve as much of her familiy's own food as possible. She enjoys cooking, swimming, hiking, kayaking, and camping with friends and family.
